Job summary

Alkegen in Buffalo, NY seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the Process Engineering Team supporting manufacturing operations. You will drive site improvements, manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline.

• Ability to present information clearly to production and maintenance teams; respond to questions.

Come grow with us!The **Engineering Manager** will be accountable for all process engineering activities in support of manufacturing operations. Acts as voice of site's Process Engineering Group and manages the process engineering discipline. This role will focus on managerial concerns of site improvement project such as cost, completion date, and resource allocation. They will provide resolution of issues and monitor integration of work between site departments. The Engineering Manager will review technical concepts of major projects, detail equipment specifications, and collaborate with Capital Projects Team. They will participate in solving technical problems with the team to improve plant performance metrics and yields.**Responsibilities:*** Responsible for coordinating and managing the Process Engineering Team, focusing resources accordingly .* Manage and implement projects to improve OEE, line efficiency and product costs.* Identifying and assessing the value and capability of new or additional technologies through innovation.* Manage local capital expenditure ensuring projects scopes are delivered on time and within budget.* Manage Site Cost saving and Continuous Improvement initiatives and tracking. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
