GH Engage in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a transportation lead to run the municipal services team's transportation side.

You'll oversee traffic studies, corridor and safety analysis, intersection design, and preliminary roadway projects, serving as Responsible Charge Representative for City public roadway work with your name on it. You'll also craft long-range plans and advise leadership on investments and standards.

Most transportation seats hand you a scope and a deadline. This one hands you the whole thing.

You'd run the transportation side of an established Louisiana firm's municipal services team. Your own staff. Traffic studies, corridor and safety analysis, intersection design, preliminary roadway. Responsible Charge Representative for the City on public roadway work, which means your name on it rather than someone else's.

Then the part most engineers never get near. Writing the long range plan for the city's network. Advising their leadership on where the investment goes. Helping rewrite the standards and specs that everybody else has to design to.

And here's what makes it unusual. The grant funding practice sits inside the same team. They win the federal money, walk it through the DOTD process, get it programmed, then design it and deliver it. Money to road under one roof. You'd stop inheriting projects and start creating them.
