The Aerospace Corporation seeks an IT Infrastructure Systems Architect to design and sustain complex IT systems for the mission IT environment in El Segundo, CA. You’ll merge system administration with architectural thinking to deliver production-grade infrastructure that supports space engineering and launch operations.

Responsibilities include patch management, security architecture integration, and Tier 3 support for specialized hardware setups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technology-related discipline.
• 8 years of IT Systems Administration or Architecture experience.
• Expertise in Windows and/or Linux; security-aware design.

Responsibilities

• Interface with ETG and offices to translate needs into service requirements.
• Design, test, and integrate IT architecture patterns across mission IT.
• Administer patch management and security compliance across platforms.
• Coordinate deployments and testing of patches in complex environments.
• Provide Tier 3 support for unique engineering configurations.
• Ensure cyber protection and zero-trust principles in architecture.
