Job summary

Faith Technologies, based in El Paso, Texas, is seeking an Engineering Intern to support the Engineering team on various projects. This role offers hands-on learning to enhance industry knowledge and career progression within the company.

The internship accepts students enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Civil or related fields. Travel may be required (5%–100%), with work hours from 7 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with some flexible

• Enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Civil, Structural, Design, Automation, Engineering Physics, Controls).
• No prior work experience required; relevant coursework or internships are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with calculations to establish construction standards and specifications.
• Study technical drawings and electrical specifications to ensure installations meet standards.
• Assist in planning electrical construction project layouts.
• Participate in field surveys and analyze data to identify issues in power systems.
• Operate engineering CAD/D CAD software and related tools.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Enrolled in an accredited institution and actively working toward a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Design Engineering, Electrical Engineering TechnologyAutomation Engineering, Engineering Physics, Controls Engineering.

Experience: No previous work experience is required. However, relevant coursework, academic projects, or prior internships related to construction or project management will be advantageous.

Travel: 5%–100% depending on role and location.

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Ability to work a flexible schedule is necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists with performing detailed calculations to compute and establish construction standards and specifications.
• Assist with preparing and studying technical drawings, as well as electrical specifications, to ensure that installations and designs conform to standards and customer requirements.
• Assists with planning the layout of electrical construction projects.
• Participates in field surveys and studies diagrams and other data to identify and correct power system problems.
• Operates computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
