Job summary

RH2 Engineering, Inc. offers a paid Engineering Internship for college students in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Electrical programs. You will gain hands-on consulting engineering experience focused on municipal utility and infrastructure projects.

You will assist with planning, design, and construction administration of water and wastewater facilities and related systems, including pipelines and treatment plants, while receiving AutoCAD and Civil 3D training.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a four-year Engineering program (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Electrical).
• Must be at minimum Junior status in school.
• Interest in learning and applying engineering knowledge in Water, Wastewater, Irrigation, Electrical, and/or Transportation projects.
• Prior experience or basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to planning, design, and construction administration of municipal drinking water and wastewater facilities.
• Support projects such as pipelines, pump stations, storage reservoirs, and treatment plants.
• Receive training in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Job description

Begin your engineering career with hands-on experience working alongside Engineering industry leaders. RH2's Engineering Internship offers college-level students currently enrolled in Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Electrical Engineering programs a paid position that introduces students to consulting engineering focused on utility and infrastructure work for municipal clients. Your work will contribute and support RH2's planning, design, and construction administration of municipal drinking water and wastewater facilities. Such facilities include, water and wastewater pipelines, pump stations, storage reservoirs, and treatment plants. Also, as an Intern you'll train in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a four-year Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Electrical focus) program at an ABET accredited school
• Must be at minimum Junior status in school
• Interest in learning and applying engineering knowledge in the areas of Water, Wastewater, Irrigation, Electrical, and/or Transportation projects
• Prior experience or basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Civil 3D a plus, but not required

Compensation starts at around $29.00/hour, and will vary based on previous experience and year in school.
