Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions offers engineering internships for Summer 2027 in Etters, PA. Roles span Field Applications, Development, Process, Product Development, and Signal Integrity, with multiple locations including Nashua, NH and Hamden, CT.

Interns will participate in R&D, CAD modeling, testing, and documentation. The program targets sophomores in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plastics Engineering, with exposure to CAD tools and SI/test methods.

Qualifications

• Sophomore in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plastics Engineering.
• Mechanical interns: Pro-E or Solidworks; FEM desirable.
• Electrical interns: SI tools like HFSS/Designer; test and calibration basics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in product R&D: mechanical design, assembly, testing of cables/connectors.
• Perform 3D modeling and create engineering drawings (CAD).
• Support lab testing and document results; inspect components and assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering teams across disciplines.
