Kleinfelder Inc is seeking entry-level professionals or interns across several engineering disciplines in the United States, including Utah, to contribute to environmental, geotechnical, civil, water/wastewater, and transportation projects. Recent graduates or students will work with experienced engineers on diverse projects.

You will gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to design, site investigations, construction oversight, and regulatory compliance, while developing your skills

Qualifications

• Students pursuing a degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or geotechnical engineering.
• Recent graduates or individuals with up to 2 years of experience in any of the listed engineering or geosciences fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, geology, or related field.
• Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a passion for engineering solutions.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Desireto learn, grow, and develop professionally.

Responsabilités

• Assist with design and implementation of environmental solutions, including water treatment, waste management, and sustainability projects.
• Support environmental assessments, regulatory compliance, and site remediation efforts.
• Conduct site investigations include drilling and test pitting and complete geotechnical analysis for construction projects.
• Assist with soil testing, foundation design, and slope stability assessments.
• Help with construction oversight, including preparing daily field reports and completing in-situ density testing.
• Support civil engineering projects involving site development, land development, and construction management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Assist with design, analysis, and management of water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Work on projects that support environmental sustainability and community health.
• Responsible for ensuring all construction project objectives and standards are met.
• Partners with clients and teams across transportation, water, energy, and facilities to manage construction risks, guarantee quality, cut long-term maintenance costs, and protect the public.
• Contribute to the design, analysis, and maintenance of bridges and other critical structures.
• Apply engineering principles to ensure safety, efficiency, and structural integrity.
• Assist with the planning, design, and implementation of transportation infrastructure projects.
• Work on projects ranging from roadway design to traffic analysis and transportation systems planning.
