Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences is offering an engineering internship to contribute to projects across R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing. You will conceptualize, design, test, and iterate engineering solutions while documenting results and participating in design reviews.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a related engineering program with a December 2027 graduation or later, available May–August 2027 for full-time work, and capable of working in a laboratory environment with strong data communication skills.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment as a student at an accredited university with a graduation date of December 2027 or later.
• Ability to work full-time during May–August 2027.
• Comfort working in a lab environment and hands-on, motivated to follow procedures and perform testing.
• Ability to clearly convey data results and maintain documentation.
• Strong interest in healthcare/medical device industry.
• GPA 3.0+ (cumulative) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Work on challenging projects across R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and more.
• Conceptualize, develop, and iterate designs to design requirements.
• Test new designs using functional and mechanical testing and simulated use.
• Document production department concerns and assist in troubleshooting.
• Provide documentation and written reports on testing and designs.
• Participate in design reviews and provide feedback.
