Job summary

ESP Associates, Inc. is seeking Engineering Interns for Summer 2027 as part of our internship program in Lake Mary, Florida. This paid internship offers exposure to mapping, surveying, and civil/environmental engineering projects, with weekly feedback and potential for conversion after degree completion.

Interns will work with engineering staff, learn software like M-FAD and PLS-CADD, and may participate in site visits and client interactions to gain practical industry experience.

Qualifications

• Majors in Civil/Environmental, Construction, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Preferred minimum 3.0 GPA.
• School years: Sophomore to Masters.
• Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
• Self-initiator with attention to detail and creative thinking.

Responsibilities

• Weekly feedback sessions to evaluate progression and plan next steps.
• Exposure to mapping and surveying industries and how they relate to engineering.
• Support engineering staff with project progression needs.
• Intro to engineering software such as M-FAD and PLS—CADD.
• Assist with drafting and engineering calculations.

• Exposure to engineering projects and clients

Qualifications:

• Majors: All Civil/Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering majors

• Demonstrated verbal and technical writing skills
