Job summary

Chesapeake Utilities Corporation offers an Engineering Internship - Summer 2027 in Delaware. This hybrid role supports the engineering team with pipeline and station design, procurement, permitting, and project management tasks to gain hands-on experience in energy infrastructure.

You will work with a cooperative, empowering team while pursuing an undergraduate degree in engineering and holding a High School Diploma as a baseline requirement.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma, pursuing an undergraduate degree in a related major (Engineering degrees, specific focus on Mechanical and Civil Engineers)

Responsibilities

• Assist with natural gas pipeline and station design projects
• Assist with material procurement
• Assist with engineering consultant management
• Assist with permitting and project approvals
• Assist with engineering team process and initiatives

Education

High School Diploma, pursuing undergraduate degree in related field (Engineering: Mechanical or Civil)
