Job summary

HNTB is seeking an engineering intern to assist assigned departments and projects with basic engineering tasks reflecting introductory curriculum. Relocation and housing are not provided.

This position is for current/former HNTB Interns only, located across multiple cities in the Midwest and beyond. You will help teams with research, design, and drawing prep while learning introductory shop drawing and submittal procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent plus current enrollment in an accredited post-secondary engineering program.
• Understands engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles at a basic level.
• Shows proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineer teams in various tasks and duties.
• Assist Engineer with research, development and design of projects.
• Assist Engineer with the preparation of engineering drawings and documents as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
