Job summary

Worley is seeking an Engineering Intern at West Virginia University to gain hands-on experience under close supervision in the mechanical discipline. You will support the delivery of engineering services and learn Worley’s design and project delivery process.

You will assist in preparing drawings, specifications, datasheets and calculations, while communicating with the project team and stakeholders. Candidates are pursuing an engineering degree.

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of technical and practical relevant engineering skills.
• Some knowledge of the basic requirements of relevant engineering.
• Developing skills in relevant engineering specific software.
• Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the delivery of engineering services that meet Worley', its customers' and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.
• Assist in preparation of detailed designs and drawings.
• Assist in preparation of specifications.
• Assist in preparation of equipment datasheets, line lists, equipment lists and valve lists.
• Assist in preparation of high level calculations and reports.
• Update existing standards and various documents.
• Communicate effectively with the project team and stakeholders.
