Job summary

Johns Manville invites motivated engineering students to join our Defiance, OH intern program for Summer 2027. The intern will gain hands-on experience in process improvement and work alongside engineering professionals and plant leadership on PLC troubleshooting and project support.

We prefer Electrical or Mechanical Engineering majors, with a potential Chemical Engineer also considered for process exposure.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a B.S. degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred; other engineering degrees considered).
• Completed at least sophomore year and plan to be enrolled in Fall classes.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering services for manufacturing enhancements and problem areas.
• Assist Sr. Engineers on technical service initiatives with sampling, analysis, and recommendations.
• Develop and integrate product and process documentation for consistency and accuracy.
• Provide project status updates and reports as required.
