Job summary

Exploration Technology Corp. is seeking an Engineering Intern to support hardware teams and gain hands-on experience across embedded systems, mechanics, systems engineering, software development, and propulsion technologies for exploration missions.

You will assist in design, analysis, and testing of space and ocean systems, contribute to requirements definition, and help develop mechanical components and software tooling.

Qualifications

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong interest and foundational knowledge in embedded systems, mechanics, systems engineering, software development, and propulsion technologies.
• Self-motivated with a passion for exploration and technological innovation.
• Skills: Experience with CAD, MATLAB, Python, or other relevant programming tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with control systems, hardware integration, or propulsion technologies is desirable.
• Excellent self-directed problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of space and ocean exploration systems.

• Write, test, and refine software for control, data acquisition, and system simulation.
