Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our plant in Brea, CA as team as Engineering Intern focusing on Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives. This position will assist engineering, quality, and manufacturing in driving Continuous Improvement initiatives.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement action across the shop with 5S focus
  • Collaborate with cross functional team to achieve department goals
  • Engage with hourly workforce to understand safety risks and take action to come up with solutions
  • Take direction from the engineering team to complete projects as needed
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree from anaccredited institution.
  • Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, etc) from an accredited institution.
  • Active student status required; must provide proof of enrollment.
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.

Salary Range:

The base pay range for this position in California is $25 - $28/hour. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience
