Job summary

Qorvo invites engineering interns to join its High Performance Analog team. The program offers real work experience, mentorship from industry experts, and exposure to upper management during your college years.

Interns will support market research, cost analyses, ROI calculations, lifecycle planning, and product-definition work while developing teamwork, initiative, and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree program or Engineer degree completed and enrolled in an MBA program.
  • Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions.
  • Ability to perform work autonomously and take initiative.
  • Inquisitive and motivated for learning and task completion.
  • Excellent time management skills for on-time project delivery.
  • Sophomore level or above.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint recommended.
  • Commit to a regular schedule of 20–40 hours a week for at least 3 months in office and possibly remote during the school year.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal and external customers with market research on new products and defense programs worldwide.
  • Assist product cost reduction activities and competitive pricing analysis.
  • Perform ROI calculations and create product quotes.
  • Help develop product life-cycle plans and document standards for business processes.
  • Work on product definition for target markets.

Qorvo's Engineering Internships are offered in our High Performance Analog business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Support/assist internal and external customers with:
  • Market research on new products and defense programs around the world
  • Product cost reduction activities and competitive pricing analysis
  • ROI calculations and product quotes
  • Assist in the development of product life-cycle plans
  • Work on product definition for our markets
  • Assist in developing and documenting standards for business processes supporting new Defense & Aerospace services business
Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in an Engineering degree program or Engineer degree completed and enrolled in an MBA program
  • Must have a 3.0 GPA or Higher
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Ability to perform work autonomously and take initiative
  • Inquisitive and motivated (for learning purposes but also to get an action/task completed)
  • Excellent time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Must be Sophomore level or above
  • Knowledge of SharePoint recommended
  • Ability to commit to a regular schedule of 20-40 hours a week for a period of at least 3 months in the office and then potentially work remotely during the school year

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.

Base compensation is one element of Total Rewards offered at Qorvo. More information on the Total Rewards package can be shared upon request.
