Job summary

HDR is seeking an Engineering Intern for the North Dakota location (Bismarck) to participate in a variety of transportation and infrastructure projects. You will gain real-world experience, connect with mentors and leaders, and apply standard engineering techniques under close supervision within HDR’s employee-owned culture.

Preferred candidates are enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program with a 3.0+ GPA, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and proficiency in MS

• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• 3.0+ GPA preferred and 2 years toward degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer 2 years completed toward degree with 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program
• Possess strong problem‑solving and communication skills
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
