Job summary

Boon-Edam, Inc. in Lillington, NC is seeking an Engineering Implementation Technician to support the Engineering Department with accurate product data, BOMs, and technical documentation.

You will convert designs to defined product structures using CAD and MAS ERP, manage revisions, and coordinate with design engineers, production, and suppliers. Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience with CAD software and ERP systems, including part and BOM management.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and product structures.
• Experience with MAS ERP and Jira; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain parts, assemblies, and BOMs within the MAS ERP system.
• Convert engineering designs into structured product definitions using CAD and ERP systems.
• Support engineering change management, including document releases, revisions, and version control.
• Monitor, process, and release engineering deviations through Jira.
• Process pre-release orders and ensure accuracy of engineering data.
• Maintain technical documentation, including drawings, material specifications, costing, data sheets, and work instructions.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing BOM structures.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and other departments to ensure accurate product information.
• Participate in engineering process improvements and provide project support as needed.

Purpose / General Description

The Engineering Implementation Technician supports the Engineering Department by maintaining accurate product data, bills of materials (BOMs), and technical documentation. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes product structures. The implementation Technician will work closely with design engineers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure that all components and materials are correctly specified and available for production.
