Job summary

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) seeks an experienced W80-5 Engineering Group Leader to oversee a professional/technical team in the W80-5 warhead development program. The role includes engineering design, project management, certification, qualification, and production support within the DTED, WTE program.

Hybrid work option may apply; relocation and security clearance are integral. A DOE Q or Top Secret clearance is required for hire and experience in NSE processes and weapon

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Active DOE Q clearance or Top Secret clearance.
• Significant experience in design engineering and product realization processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct group personnel; participate in performance reviews and salary management.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard staff to meet program staffing needs for W80-5.
• Provide technical, safety, and security leadership; define work assignments with project principals.
