U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Pierre, SD is seeking an Engineer Equipment Operator to operate a variety of light to heavy equipment for the maintenance of all outside areas of the Dam and reservoir.

The position involves operating heavy machinery such as mobile cranes, dump trucks, wheel loaders, excavators, and dozers. Telework is eligible; deadline is 2026-10-21. Salary range shown: $30.93–$38.14 per hour.

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: As Engineer Equipment Operator, operates a variety of light, medium and heavy equipment (gasoline and diesel powered) in maintenance of all outside areas of the Dam and reservoir.
