Job summary

LECO Corporation in St. Joseph, MI is seeking an Engineering Documentation Processor to document new products for production and manage EARs/ECN processes. You will coordinate with PCAD and SolidWorks drafters, verify drawings, and prepare Bills of Materials. Strong time management and teamwork are essential.

Experience with LECO or similar engineering environments is preferred; a disciplined, detail-oriented approach is a must to ensure accurate documentation and efficient product launches.

Qualifications

• Experience working with ECN/EAR processes and documentation workflows.
• Experience documenting new products for production readiness.
• Familiarity with bill of materials processes and change control.

Responsibilities

• Log and reserve ECN numbers
• Assign LECO part numbers to new products and record information in drawing record form
• Create mark-ups for new and/or revised drawings and process sheets
• Verify, update, or create bills of materials as required per the ECN process or new product release
• Document changes in accordance with EAR and ECN processes
• Coordinate and verify new or revised drawings and process sheets with PCAD or SolidWorks drafters
• Cross check created and updated drawings
• Initial documents for approval
