Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a technical writer with an engineering background to create installation, operation, and maintenance manuals. You will uphold our brand standards, review content for accuracy, and collaborate with the project team to meet customer requirements.

The role requires prior technical writing experience and familiarity with InDesign, SAP, and Vault Pro. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is expected, with strong communication and documentation skills across engineering

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field such as engineering, technical writing, or communications.
Experience in technical writing with ability to produce clear, accurate documentation.
Familiarity with engineering concepts and standards to support technical content.

Responsibilities

Write installation, operation, and maintenance manuals.
Maintain company style and brand standards within the document.
Review documents for errors in spelling, punctuation, formatting, accuracy, etc.
Communicate with company’s project team members.
Upload and edit documents using relevant computer programs.
Assist in meeting project/customer requirements.
Customer satisfaction.
