Job summary

CapstoneONE Search represents a globally recognized Fortune 500 manufacturing organization seeking a Site Engineering Director to own an 80+ person engineering department within a 1,200+ employee campus.

Reporting to the General Manager, the candidate will lead continuous improvement initiatives, manage budgets, and partner with senior leadership to shape the long-term engineering and operations roadmap.

Qualifications

• Engineering/Technical degree required.
• 3–5 years of engineering leadership experience.
• Experience in high speed/fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and work cross-functionally

Responsibilities

• Lead a department of 80+ employees while owning budgetary responsibilities for a 1,200+ employee campus.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including yield improvement and process optimization.
• Provide direction and leadership aligned with company and business plan goals.
• Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Direct and drive the use of problem-solving methods for plant and customer issues.
• Work with plant staff to develop HI-POT talent.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure launch program execution.
• Establish and track KPIs aligned with plant and business objectives.
• Provide strategic input into the long-term engineering and business roadmap.
