Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking a Digital Delivery Specialist to execute and advance digital delivery services across projects. You’ll own DDS tools, automation, and solution development while collaborating with project teams to improve quality and efficiency.

The role blends technical execution with leadership responsibilities, supporting onboarding and training, and applying DDS standards across multiple projects. A strong background in BIM and digital workflows is required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in BIM, Digital Delivery, Design Technology, or related roles.
  • Demonstrated experience developing tools, automations, or workflow solutions.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery environments and coordination workflows.

Position Summary

The Digital Delivery Specialist is an individual contributor responsible for executing, supporting, and advancing digital delivery services (DDS) workflows across projects. This role combines strong technical execution with ownership of tools, automations, and client‑driven digital solutions that improve delivery quality, efficiency, and consistency. Digital Delivery Specialists operate across projects and teams, applying standards while solving complex or non‑routine delivery challenges. The Digital Delivery Specialist provides technical leadership, mentorship, and solution development, serving as a key bridge between day‑to‑day delivery needs and scalable digital delivery practices.

Delivery Execution & Coordination
  • Executes advanced Digital Delivery tasks across active projects.
  • Applies approved DDS standards, workflows, and tools consistently.
  • Supports complex modeling, coordination, automation, or data‑related efforts.
  • Contributes to predictable, high‑quality delivery outcomes.
Tools, Automation & Client‑Driven Solutions
  • Develops and maintains digital delivery tools, scripts, templates, and automations for project and client needs.
  • Prototypes, tests, and refines solutions in alignment with DDS standards.
  • Coordinates with DDS leadership to prioritize, scope, and approve solution development.
  • Creates technical training content as part of presentation collateral and other creative media tools.
  • Utilizes AI‑enabled tools and techniques to enhance digital delivery efficiency and quality, within established DDS standards and governance.
Workflow & Standards Support
  • Implements and reinforces Digital Delivery standard workflows and best practices.
  • Troubleshoots workflow, model, coordination, or automation issues.
  • Researches, learns and drives adoption of new industry tools for technical content development, hosting and analysis specific to the needs of DDS.
  • Identifies deviations from standards and elevate risks or issues appropriately.
Cross‑Project Coordination & Collaboration
  • Works across multiple projects, sectors, or teams as assigned.
  • Coordinates with Project Managers, Discipline Leads, and DDS leadership.
  • Contributes to improvement of DDS workflows, tools, and standards.
  • Participates in pilot efforts, testing, and process refinement initiatives.
Technical Leadership & Mentorship
  • Serves as a technical resource for Digital Delivery Coordinators and project teams.
  • Provides informal mentoring, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
  • Supports onboarding and training efforts related to DDS tools and workflows.
  • Promotes consistent, repeatable digital delivery practices.

Required Education, Experience, Licenses & Technical Competencies
  • 5 or more years of experience in BIM, Digital Delivery, Design Technology, or related roles, or 9 or more years of experience without a bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience developing tools, automations, or workflow solutions, including leveraging AI‑enabled tools or techniques to enhance digital delivery workflows.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery environments and coordination workflows
  • Ability to work independently and manage technical responsibilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across diverse geographical and technical realms.
  • Experience supporting complex and multi‑disciplinary projects preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with firm‑standard digital delivery platforms and governance preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with automation, data workflows, or advanced digital delivery methodologies preferred.
  • Must demonstrate proficiency in all core competencies as described and characterized in this job description.
Physical & Other Requirements
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Occasional travel may be required (10-15%).
  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
