Deloitte is seeking an Associate Vice President to drive technical projects and programs, blending hands-on engineering with program management. You will collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to deliver AI, GenAI, and Cloud platform initiatives, mentoring peers and guiding client engagements.

You will manage product lifecycles, optimize pipelines, ensure risk controls, and communicate with stakeholders to align technical delivery with business goals.

Qualifications

  • Over a decade designing and automating CI/CD pipelines with cloud-native/open-source tools.
  • Strong DevOps experience; proficient in monitoring with Prometheus/Grafana/ELK/Loki.
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, ECS/EKS in multi-cloud setups.
  • Terraform IaC with related monitoring/deployment tools exposure.
  • Proven track record in product/service delivery and technical program management.

Work You'll Do

As an Associate Vice President, you will have hands‑on technical skills as well as program and project management experience to drive technical projects and programs working directly with our onshore and offshore development and engineering teams. You’ll bring a mix of hands‑on technical expertise with the ability to drive projects to completion managing onshore and offshore teams. You will work directly with engineering teams, assisting with product and service delivery for AI, GenAI, and Cloud platform programs. You’ll have full life‑cycle project experience with specific technical skills enabling you to be a valued technical member of our engineering teams. You will manage projects, people, clients, risk, governance, and you’ll mentor other team members, and help build the business.

  • Product & Service LifecycleManagement: you will work with our product or servicedeliveryteams for AI, GenAI, and Cloud platform programs; engaging with engineering teams.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Design & Automation: you will design and optimize CI/CD pipelines with cloud-native and open-source tools.
  • Technical Project/ProgramManagement: you will help manage technical programs/projects with your structured planning, reporting, and riskmanagement skills.
  • RequirementsManagement/ Business Analysis: you will handle requirements documentation (FSDs), mapping business needs to technical solutions, and stakeholder communications.
  • Containerization & Orchestration–experience managing platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, ECS/EKS (multi-cloud preferred).
  • Stakeholder Communication & Leadership: you will drive proactive collaboration between PMOs, executives, technical partners, and DevOps teams.
Qualifications – Required Skills and Experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in CI/CD pipeline design and automation with a proven track record designing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with cloud-native and open-source tools.
  • Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK and Loki and strong DevOps experience.
  • Containerization & Orchestration–experience managing platforms like Kubernetes, Docker, ECS/EKS (multi-cloud preferred).
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience – 5+ years’ experience in Terraform, with exposure to related monitoring/deployment tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk.
  • 10+ years’ experience in product and lifecycle management with experience leading product or service delivery.
  • 10+ years’ experience as a technical program or project manager which should include structured planning, reporting, and risk management responsibilities.
  • 10+ years’ experience in requirements documentation (FSDs), mapping business needs to technical solutions, and stakeholder communications.
  • 10+ years’ experience with Git workflows, GitHub/GitLab automation, and best practices for source control.
  • 10+ years’ experience driving proactive collaboration between PMOs, executives, technical partners, and DevOps teams.
  • 5+ years’ experience driving large transformational programs including driving DevSecOps pipeline sales and engagements with a focus on RFP development, creating strategies for new engagements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a related field.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Qualifications - Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Strong fluency in Python scripting for automation, integrations, and tooling customization.
  • Release Train Engineering (RTE):Experience in environment oversight, migration, releasemanagement, and roadmap coordination in scaled agile settings.
  • 8+ years’ experience in Cloud ProgramManagement with hands-on expertise with cloud infrastructure provisioning and automation (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • 8+ years’ experience with DevSecOps including automated security assessment, remediation, and compliance in CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments.
  • Multi-Platform Cloud Integration experience, bridging AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms for modernization or migration projects.
  • Incidentmanagementand backlog oversight experience with skills around production support, incident resolution, and backlog refinement.
  • Knowledge of designing, securing, and implementing APIs for automating business and compliance processes.
  • Agile deliveryexperience, scrum certification, proficiency in Jira/Confluence, user story creation, requirements gathering, and backlogmanagement.
Wages and Salary

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $163,400 to $322,100.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, the individual, and organizational performance.
