Job summary

OFS in the United States is seeking an Engineering Data Technician to manage the core data driving our furniture engineering and manufacturing operations.

You will create component parts, bills of materials, and routings in the ERP system, collaborate across departments to support engineer-to-order processes, and implement data automation projects to improve data accuracy and production efficiency.

• Detail-oriented and analytical with strong data management skills.
• Willingness to learn new processes and software.
• Experience with ERP data upkeep and data governance preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Create component parts, bills of materials, and routings in ERP system
• Collaborate with other departments to support engineer-to-order process
• Control data to ensure standards are met and maintained
• Communicate with manufacturing facilities to troubleshoot and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Implement data automation projects

QUALIFICATIONS

• Highly detail-oriented and analytical
• Desire for learning new processes and software
• Adaptable to change
• Experience in Excel, Google Docs & Sheets preferred
• Familiarity with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP system desired
