Job summary

Actalent, Inc. is seeking a contract engineer to support business growth with broad technical knowledge of products and parts processing across systems.

You will create and maintain documentation (part setups) for the company's brands and lead a cross-functional aftermarket team to implement plant-driven design changes for NPD projects. You will ensure that documentation and production projects meet deadlines, analyze design changes to align with business needs, and participate in the design

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or 10+ years of equivalent experience.
• Experience with Oracle12 and Windchill.
• Strong understanding of engineering design material flow.

Responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is to support the business growth strategy through a broad range of technical knowledge, not only of products but also of parts processing through many systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience with a BS degree in Engineering preferred (open to AS degree) OR 10+ years' of equivalent experience
• Experience with Oracle12 and Windchill
• Good understanding of engineering design material flow

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Davidson, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
