Engineering Consulting Professional - II
Overview

America Networks is a leading sensor and networking solutions partner for companies in any Industrial, Manufacturing, and Waste management space. We design and manufacture sensors for storage tanks, water metering, energy metering, gas monitoring, and asset management. Our founders are hardcore telecommunications engineers with combined 200+ years of experience in designing, optimizing and performance engineering; for several mid – large wireless carriers internationally - that saw a need to provide low power, cost efficient sensors to collect data, create alerts, and predict needed actions. We have combined these sensors with low power, wide area (LPWA) networking technologies to provide clients various options to decrease re-occurring costs associated with operating an IoT network of sensors and connected devices. We specialize in design, deployment, optimization, and support of these Networks. Whether an off-the-shelf or custom solution is needed, we’ll create a solution and push the data on the best cloud platform to fit your needs, including your own.

  • Handle all OEM and certification needs of device.
  • Providing secure access to our internal portal
  • This consists of knowledge of OD requirements and managing requirements needs as they change.
  • Providing OEM’s with accurate requirements clarification
  • Driving IOT for chipset based designs
  • Meeting with the OEM’s and getting development status.
  • Providing OEM’s with plans to speed up the process
  • Setting up and managing device lockdowns
  • Providing Approval to test the device.
  • Getting and reviewing waivers with the Internal lab
  • Tracking the devices at third party labs
  • Working issues with the OEM’s
  • Working with Internal lab to determine pass or fail criteria
  • Loading the profile and certifying them
Qualifications

Minimum of Bachelors degree, preferably technical EE/CS etc. a Masters degree in Marketing or business is a plus. Experience:

  • Able to review marketing or technical requirements, being able to work within confines of a data base to schedule and track devices.
  • Disciplined to make sure details of tracking are accurate.
  • Fluent in MS tools such as Word Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have worked with Architectures and designs of embedded equipment
  • Must have experience with Project Planning and estimation
  • 2-4 years experience in wireless equipment
Other

Compiles and computes data from a wide variety of sources, the majority of which are of a complex or technical nature. Coordinates the workload or distribution of work activities as part of a team. Decides approach and determines data requirements; conducts investigation on moderately complex issues under limited supervision; prepares reports and recommendations for professional and/or managerial staff action. Drafts and edits for review correspondence which is moderately complex technical, and confidential in nature, including correspondence developed on issues under investigation. Minimum B.S. degree. Well organized in application of engineering Microsoft Office Suite. 5 to 7 years of experience.
