GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites you to join our Summer 2027 Engineering Co-op program in the USA (LaGrange, GA). You will work with mentors on real projects spanning New Product Introduction, product improvement, modeling, simulation, and software development.

You will gain hands-on experience, attend trainings, and participate in networking and community activities, with housing/relocation assistance for eligible students.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) with graduation after December 2027.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale).
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship is required.

Responsibilities

• Work with a mentor to achieve defined goals that support business needs and learning objectives.
• Complete engineering assignments in areas such as New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling & Simulation, and Software Development.
• Attend training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and professional skills; participate in networking and volunteer activities.

Position Engineering Co‑op_Summer 2027 Location USA, LaFayette, GA

How You’ll Create Possibilities The Summer 2027 Engineering Co‑op runs from May17, 2027 – August 06, 2027, and is based in Lafayette, GA. Housing and relocation assistance is available for eligible students.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Work with your mentor to accomplish established goals that support the business and offer learning opportunity
• Complete innovative, technical assignments in areas such as New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling and Simulation, Advanced Development, Sourced Products, Software Development
• Attend development and training sessions to enhance your technical knowledge and professional enhancement.
• Take part in networking and community volunteer projects.
• Optional events will be available both in and out of work.
• These include lunches, weekend activities, sports, and cookouts.

Required Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering) December 2027 or later graduation date
• Cumulative GPA >=3.0 (out of 4.0)
• Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring is required.
• We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now, nor in the future, for this position.
