Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking an Engineering Co-op for Spring 2027 in Lafayette, GA. You will rotate through areas such as New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, and Software Development, guided by a mentor to meet goals and deliverables.

You will gain hands-on experience, work with bright minds, and participate in development sessions and networking opportunities, with housing/relocation support for eligible students.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited university pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical)
• December 2027 or later graduation date
• Cumulative GPA >=3.0 (out of 4.0)
• Legal authorization to work in the country/region where the business is hiring is required. We will not sponsor visas now, nor in the future for this position.

• Work with your mentor to accomplish established goals that support the business and learning opportunities
• Complete innovative, technical assignments in areas such as New Product Introduction, Product Improvement, Modeling and Simulation, Advanced Development, Sourced Products, Software Development
• Attend development and training sessions to enhance your technical knowledge and professional development
• Take part in networking and community volunteer projects
• Optional events will be available both in and out of work (lunches, weekend activities, sports, cookouts)
