Job summary

PPL Corporation, parent to LG&E and KU, offers an engineering co-op in Kentucky for Spring 2027. You’ll gain hands-on experience by working with seasoned engineers on projects supporting our operations and reliability strategies.

Applicants must pursue an ABET-accredited B.S. in Computer Engineering with at least a 2.50 GPA and be available January through May 2027, bringing strong analytical and problem-solving skills to bear on real-world energy delivery challenges.

Qualifications

• Pursuing ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree with declared major in Computer Engineering.
• Minimum 2.50 GPA.
• Available full time during the Spring 2027 semester (January - May).

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend solutions.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data using established engineering procedures.
• Perform routine engineering tasks such as calculations, testing, and analysis.
• Support operations and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and technical evaluations.
• Assist engineers with large-scale projects and initiatives.
• Participate in development of engineering goals, budgets, and procedures.
