Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a Co-op/Intern pursuing an engineering or quality-related degree to gain hands-on experience in engineering, manufacturing, assembly techniques, process development, and quality assurance. The Co-op/Intern will support engineering, including sustaining engineering and new product activities.

Work is quarter to quarter on a wide variety of projects. You will support testing, protocol development, validation activities, and documentation while following AtriCure Quality

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Test according to the AtriCure Quality System and write test reports.
• Perform research for engineering as assigned by a supervisor.
• Write process validation/qualification protocols and analyze results.
• Design test protocols, equipment and systems as assigned by supervisor.
• Support engineering activities and other company functions as assigned by supervisor.
• Document and install process equipment.
• Identify assembly process or equipment improvements.
• Support pilot build activities including training and data organization.
