Job summary

RMF Engineering, Inc is seeking an engineering undergraduate for a full-time intern/co-op position. Duration and start/finish windows align with the student’s academic calendar. The goal is to complete three semesters with RMF while progressing toward an engineering degree.

Qualifications

Enrolled in an engineering degree program at an accredited US college or university.
Satisfactory completion of freshman year with a minimum GPA of 2.8.
Ability to complete the cooperative education program per university guidelines.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

Contribute to mechanical (HVAC, Fire Protection and Plumbing), electrical (Power Systems and Lighting), or civil (infrastructure, construction) design work.
Perform design, field observation, and survey activities.
Produce project documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit (BIM).
Gain exposure to building energy management and sustainable design principles.
Observe field installations and work alongside senior engineering staff; opportunities for continued internships based on performance.
