Job summary

Lumitex in Brecksville, OH is seeking Spring 2027 Engineering Co-op students to join our team. Under the guidance of experienced engineers, you will gain hands-on exposure to design, manufacturing, testing, quality, regulatory, and prototyping activities.

You will work on real projects, manage tasks, and develop skills in attention to detail, teamwork, and communication while contributing to our mission to improve life with light.

Qualifications

• Sophomore, junior, or senior engineering student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering.
• Available for Spring, Summer, Fall 2027 semesters and willing to rotate.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist across design, manufacturing, testing, quality, regulatory, and prototyping.
• Support project work and manage tasks under guidance of engineers.
• Participate in cross-functional collaboration and learn hands-on processes.

Position Summary:

We are looking for passionate, flexible, action orientated, and collaborative engineering students that are looking for an exciting and diversified co-op experience!

Under the direction of an experienced engineer, our Co-ops will be provided with exposure to multiple areas of engineering including design, manufacturing, testing, quality, regulatory, and prototyping. They will be challenged and trusted to manage projects as they assist our Engineering Team.

The Co-op experience includes:

Requirements

• Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior engineering student pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Biomedical Engineering
• Available for Spring, Summer, Fall 2027 Semester and be interested in returning on a rotational basis.
