You will translate project requirements into procurement strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and manage multiple procurement projects to support cost-effective, compliant production. The role requires a technical degree, 5+ years of purchasing experience in a technical setting, and strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is required.
• 5+ years of progressive purchasing experience in a technical environment.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills with ability to interpret engineering drawings/specifications.
• Experience with supplier audits and ISO/quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and procure goods and services for engineering and sustainable production projects.
• Translate technical requirements into procurement criteria for suppliers.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and production teams.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive cost savings and risk mitigation.
• Oversee supplier audits and ensure regulatory and ethical sourcing compliance.
• Track KPIs such as cost savings and delivery performance.
• Some travel to suppliers is required.
