• Associate’s Degree in a related field or a minimum five years construction or public utilities experience is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Applicable certifications (e.g., Virginia DOT, ACI, DEQ or similar) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform field inspections of public infrastructure construction and private utility projects within the Right-Of-Way.
• Make sound engineering decisions based on contract documents, standards, laws.
• Communicate clearly with developers, engineers and contractors to support project execution.
• Plan and implement daily and long-term schedules; develop relationships with the public and City departments; answer policy inquiries.
