Job summary

Actalent is hiring for an on-site Electromechanical Assembly role in Newton, MA. You will perform electromechanical assembly activities, read assembly documentation and drawings, and troubleshoot production issues within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Minimum education is a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree is beneficial and may qualify you for higher pay. The position offers a standard schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with some flexibility and a pay range of

Education & Experience Requirements

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED.

Associate Degree: Considered beneficial and may qualify candidates for the higher end of the pay range.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools.

Ability to:

• Read and interpret assembly drawings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues.
• Follow established procedures and documented work instructions.
• Work within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.

Perform electromechanical assembly activities.

Read and interpret assembly documentation and drawings.

Troubleshoot assembly and production-related issues.

Maintain compliance with regulated processes and procedures.

Assist with other operational activities as business needs require.

Schedule

Standard schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Some flexibility available:

• 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM is acceptable.
• Limited flexibility beyond that due to operational coverage requirements.

Team Structure

Works independently on daily assignments.

Part of a broader team environment.

Approximately three technical operators currently perform similar work within the department.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Newton, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
