Ellipsis U.S. Onshore is seeking an Engineering Analyst to support the technical and finance teams in acquisitions, production monitoring, and reserves reporting. You will manage databases, validate data, and build tools to drive outputs for corporate level models.

Ellipsis U.S. Onshore (\"Ellipsis\") is a division of Westlawn. Ellipsis is currently seeking non-operated working and mineral interests in all major onshore basins. Westlawn is a private investment firm focused on upstream oil and gas investments, with an initial concentration on North America, Latin America, and the Middle East. In addition to Ellipsis, Westlawn has two further divisions: Americas Offshore and Oman.
The Engineering Analyst will be responsible for assisting the technical team in several areas including but not limited to acquisition evaluation, database creation and management, production monitoring, asset management, reserves reporting, and LOS analysis. They will also act as a liaison between the technical team and the finance team to convert reserve report statements into outputs suitable for corporate level returns models.
The successful candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities from a multi-disciplined team and will be expected to adapt to the business needs in various capacities (learning new software, assisting other departments, etc.).
