Job summary

Macomb County Government is seeking an Engineering Aide I/II in the Roads department. Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in engineering duties preferred, including interpretation of construction plans and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Plot topographic features and assist with design drawings.
• Interpret field reports for construction plans.
• Perform calculations for highway plan development.
• Draw plans for road, bridge, and culvert projects per MOOT standards.
• Ensure materials and work meet specifications and proposals.
• Record field data and monitor project progress.
