Job summary

TYLin International is seeking a Water Design Engineer in the Washington, D.C. area to contribute to municipal water, wastewater, and stormwater projects with practical, constructible solutions.

You will perform hydraulic and hydrologic calculations, prepare detailed drawings and specifications, and collaborate with subconsultants and project teams to meet client needs. A Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering is required with 3–6 years of relevant experience; EIT is required and PE is strongly

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
  • 3–6 years of experience in water, wastewater, and/or stormwater engineering.
  • Strong experience in detailed design including pipelines, manholes, pump systems and grading plans.
  • Understanding of soil conditions and erosion/sediment control practices.
  • EIT required; PE license or ability to obtain within one year strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a design from concept through final documentation.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a client-focused mindset.

  • Present project updates and deliverables to clients.

Lin International is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $81,200-$121,800 annually for this position and local market.
