Engineer - Test Development

At KK Group, you will play an important role in supporting our production through development and maintenance of test solutions. As Engineer - Test Development, you will join our Global Test Solutions team in Hammel and contribute to ensuring stable and efficient test setups that support high-quality production.

You will work closely with production, engineering, and global colleagues to develop, implement, and maintain test solutions. The role combines hands‑on technical work with documentation and continuous improvement, making it a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving practical engineering challenges in a production environment.

Purpose of Role

Responsibilities

• Maintain test equipment and support the production line in case of issues
• Update existing test solutions based on change requirements
• Develop new functionalities and test solutions according to requirements
• Maintain and update test solution documentation to ensure it is always up to date
• Estimate development time for new test solutions and improvements
• Support preparation of electrical diagrams for test solutions
• Participate in acceptance testing and preparation of test reports in collaboration with engineering
• Support production with troubleshooting and resolution of engineering‑related issues

Our requirements

• Educational background as an electronics technician or engineer
• Experience with testing of electronics or test development environments
• Experience with designing or building test equipment (software and/or hardware)
• Ability to read and develop electrical diagrams
• Experience with test software tools such as LabVIEW, Python, or similar
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to analyse and debug test systems
• Structured and detail‑oriented approach to documentation and technical tasks
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Experience with wind or renewable energy industry
• Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, load banks, or signal generators
• Knowledge of SQL and database handling
• Experience working near or on electrical installations
• Knowledge of CE marking processes and documentation
