C2BMC supports layered missile defense capabilities that enable an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It serves as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations, both globally and regionally, to improve performance. C2BMC is essential for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of missile defense systems.

The System Integration Engineer will support the Integration & Test (I&T) Integrated Product Team (IPT) by integrating C2BMC hardware and software into testbeds and operational systems, conducting system checkouts, troubleshooting issues across the Missile Defense System (MDS), and supporting test events and integration activities with internal, National Team, and Government stakeholders.

  • Author test plans and procedures, write Problem Reports (PRs) to document issues, and provide feedback to Developers and other stakeholders
  • Create and modify scripts to extract specific information from log files and perform data analysis of input/output and internal message traffic
  • Operate and troubleshoot C2BMC systems during test events and integration activities, including laboratory, ground test, and fielding activities as required
  • Support meetings with National Team groups, other MDS elements, and Government customers by providing technical input, status, and results from integration and test activities
