Job summary

Republic Airways is seeking an Aircraft Structures Engineer to ensure airworthiness through design, analysis, and maintenance of aircraft structures. You will collaborate with OEMs, DER teams, and maintenance to diagnose issues and implement compliant repairs.

The role requires FAA A&P or equivalent, 3+ years in related engineering or maintenance, and knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 121/133. Travel and safety-focused environment are part of the duties.

Qualifications

  • Requires FAA Mechanic Certificate with a rating of Airframe & Powerplant or foreign equivalent.
  • Associate’s or higher degree in Aviation or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in aircraft engineering or maintenance.
  • Knowledge of 14 CFR Parts 121/133 and related manuals.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with OEMs, STC Holders, and DER teams to diagnose structural issues and recommend compliant repairs.
  • Analyze and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for modifications and repairs.
  • Develop structural work cards for inspections, repairs, and continued airworthiness.
  • Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure repairs follow published instructions.

This role involves coordinating with OEM’s to develop and implement engineering solutions to support aircraft modifications, repairs, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing operational efficiency.
