Job summary

Olectra in New York is seeking a capable R&D Project Manager to lead the development agenda, create timelines, and coordinate across design, manufacturing and field operations.

You will drive project dashboard reporting, align inputs from strategic, marketing and sales, and ensure on-time delivery of design deliverables through cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in R&D project management with relevant diplomas or MBA.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project timelines as per business requirements.

• Verify design team deliverables and steer projects to proper execution.
• Coordinate with departments outside R&D for inputs to ensure proper delivery.
• Manage resources within R&D.
• Track issues and ensure solutions within the project phase.

• Project list summary and periodic reporting to management
• Co-ordination with all teams in design function for smooth execution of all projects and ensure R&D deliverables as per agreed timeline
• Establish and close working with Strategic team and Marketing & Sales team for ensuring all inputs to the design functions on timely basis
• Verification of design team deliverables on regular basis and steer the project for proper execution
• Co-ordination with various departments outside R&D for needed inputs to ensure proper delivery of design
• Resource management with in R&D
• Issue tracking and ensure solution with in the project phase for ensuring final release of the product.

Educational Qualification, Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• Education: Diploma/BE / B.Tech / Mechanical / Automobile /MBA
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in R&D Project Management
