Job summary

Samsung Electronics Perú is seeking an Engineer, Software Analysis Engineering to drive automation in telecom environments. You will develop scripts, tools, and UI components; integrate systems via REST APIs; and work across on-site Plano infrastructure and cloud deployments to improve performance.

You will troubleshoot server and network issues, support users, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance tool capabilities and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in software development/engineering roles.
• Experience in Linux environments, scripting with Java and Python, and UI development with JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
• Strong background in CI/CD, source control, and software release management.
• Proficient in SQL, XML, JSON, REST, and Web services; familiar with cloud-based distributed applications.
• Knowledge of 4G/5G network architectures and wireless deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Automate network management tasks and develop scripts and utilities.
• Build web UI applications with front and back ends and integrate via REST APIs.
• Troubleshoot server and network infrastructure and support users in a technical capacity.
• Develop tools and interworking between applications using Rest API and cloud deployments.
• Maintain, enhance, and support commissioning/integration tools and performance visualization.
• Provide technical training and collaborate with leads to upgrade tool capabilities.
