Job summary

GVI Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, seeks an Engineer/Scientist 3 in Charleston, SC to deliver systems engineering management, cyber-physical integration, and C4ISR support for federal programs.

Qualified candidates will hold a BS in Engineering or Computer Science, have six years of systems engineering experience, and three years supporting MAGTF C2 programs. Pursuing relevant professional certifications is encouraged; EOE.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science required.
• Pursuing Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM) or CSDP or equivalent vendor cert within 18 months.
• Six years in systems engineering management incl. analysis, architecture, support, testing and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and agile scheduling for programs.
• Oversee configuration & release management processes.
• Lead quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
• Conduct data analysis to support decision making.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Education:

• BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Software Engineer or computer related degrees only: Working towards the following certifications within one and a half year after assuming duties:
• Professional Software Engineering Master (PSEM)/ Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or a complete a vendor/platform specific certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), etc.) Experience:
• Six (6) years of experience in systems engineering management, to include: Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Support, Test and Evaluation, and Logistics support of C4ISR requirements.
• Three (3) years of technical experience in support of MAGTF C2 programs. (Experience may be achieved simultaneously.)
