Qualifications

  • Entry Level E01 requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and access requirements.
  • Mid-level E02 requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2 years of nuclear or related experience and access requirements.
  • Senior E03 requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 5 years of nuclear or related experience and access requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assure engineering products comply with safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision.
  • Support engineering work functions.
  • Cover outage activities or emergency response as directed by management.

Expected salary range:

  • Entry‑Level - $87,000
  • Mid‑Level - $92,700 - $114,000
  • Sr Level - $122,400- $154,000

Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K.

Primary Purpose of Position

Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under direct supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations.

Primary Duties and Accountabilities
  • Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements.
  • Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision
  • Support engineering work functions.
  • Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Entry Level E01 Engineer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear)
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-level E02 Engineer
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, civil/structural, electrical, industrial, mechanical or nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior E03 Engineer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience
  • Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
Preferred Qualifications
  • PRA (Probabilistic Risk Assessment) experience including course work in logic model development
