Job summary

Kelvin Group Corp in Texas seeks an engineer to plan, design, and oversee industrial refrigeration systems under a Professional Engineer's guidance, traveling to Dallas–Fort Worth sites as needed. You will lead technicians, collaborate with sales and production, develop small project scopes, and prepare drawings and installation specs to meet client requirements.

You will mentor apprentices, review service tickets, and help manage workloads, payroll, and profitability while ensuring timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering duties in planning and designing the manufacturing, installation and operation of industrial refrigeration systems under a Professional Engineer's guidance.
• Collaborate with engineers, sales and production teams to implement systems per customer requirements.
• Lead field technicians with the Service Manager's support and coordinate with office staff to set up client work orders.
• Develop small project scopes by gathering and analyzing field data.
• Mentor apprentices, review service tickets for payroll and billing, and work with the Service Department to manage workloads, schedule manpower and ensure profitability.
• Follow up on leads from field and service technicians and project managers.
• Provide equipment schedules detailing system performance and requirements, create technical drawings for safe wiring, and produce installation specifications.
• Interpret blueprints to assess system needs, perform heat gain calculations, estimate production costs, and manage equipment orders and schedules.
• Uphold company values. May work on weekends if necessary.
• Position requires travel to various job sites in the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington MSA.
