Agua Caliente Casino • Resort • Spa is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep casino indoor and outdoor premises in top condition. You will work with all departments and engage with Engineering staff to perform repairs, preventive maintenance, and routine service on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, and chillers.

You will read meters and document work thoroughly, support project planning, and follow OSHA safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2 years proven experience as a maintenance technician.
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, standard appliances, and devices.
• Ability to read meters, gauges and other testing instruments accurately.
• Must follow safety guidelines and OSHA standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operating condition of casino buildings and equipment and perform simple repairs.
• Perform electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, chillers and other equipment maintenance.
• Read meters and instruments to identify problems and plan repairs.
• Document all repairs and preventive maintenance accurately.
• Aide in planning projects and monitor work by outside contractors.
• Support landscaping, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and masonry tasks as needed.

Also works along with all Engineering personnel.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned) Maintains operating condition of casino buildings and equipment and completes simple repairs.Uses knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry, painting and plumbing.Responsible for timely repairs, installation, and preventive maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, boilers, chillers and any other pieces of equipment that would need service.Responsible for reading meters, gauges and other testing instruments accurately and effectively in order to detect and identify problems and the appropriate paths for repairs.Responsible for all timely and accurate documentation of all repairs and preventive maintenance reports.Performs departmental technical projects which will include, but not limited to, electrical and mechanical equipment repair. Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment. Must be able to work in a “lighting subdued” environment for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold weatherTypically the individual will be housed in an office environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
