ASARCO LLC is seeking a Mining Engineer EDP in Arizona for a rotational program spanning Mine Operations and Technical Services. Recent graduates will gain hands-on experience planning, tracking, and reconciling mine plans, with opportunities to execute plans in the field under supervision.
The program aims to develop well-rounded engineers with exposure to Grade Control and Short/Mid/Long-Range planning, leading to a fast-track to Engineer III upon program completion.
The Mining Engineer EDP position will rotate through technical and operational roles in Technical Services and Mine Operations. They will get experience planning, tracking and reconciling mine plans while getting the opportunity to execute said plans in the field via supervision. The role’s intent is for recent graduates (< 1 year) to develop engineers to become well-rounded future leaders in ASARCO.
